Nature and the concrete jungle

“Lose yourself in nature and find peace.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Taken from the 5th Floor at  Birla Academy of Fine Arts, Southern Avenue, where my daughter goes for drawing classes on Sunday mornings. The Rabindra Sarobar Lake ( Eastern section) can be seen, and  in the distance.,.. highrises hover, showing the vertical growth of a crowded metropolis.

Nostalgic memories of a city that I left behind. Adios, Kolkata! Peace be upon those who live amidst your crowded, chaotic yet lively environs.
